Ingredients
Homemade gnocchi (see recipe)
6 tbsp butter
1 tbsp red pepper flakes
4 sage leaves, thinly sliced
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
- Bring large pot of water to boil & cook gnocchi until they float
- Four sauce, melt butter in saucepan over high heat until butter develops brown flecks & smells nutty. Remove from heat
- Take cooked gnocchi and put in with butter sauce over low heat & toss until butter flecks stick to gnocchi
- Add red pepper flakes, sage and a few tbsp of gnocchi water & toss
- Remove from heat and add half the cheese, divide remaining cheese between bowls
