Ingredients
1 onion finely sliced
1 clove crushed garlic
2 tbsp water
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
8 San Marzano tomatoes – diced
1 pinch of sea salt
6 cups flat green beans
250 g cooked papardelle
4-5 basil leaves
Directions:
- Saute onion & garlic in water & oil 3-5 min
- Add tomatoes
- Add salt & simmer med/low 10 min
- Put a large pot of salted water to boil
- Trim beans, add them to water & boil 5 min
- Add pasta to water together with beans
- Cook pasta in salted water as directed on pkg less 1 min
- Drain cooked pasta & beans, transfer to pan with sauce
- Combine & let simmer additional 1-3 min
- Add fresh chopped basil and serve
